E3 Agility
Agility can be a terrific way to strengthen the bond between yourself and your dog, but it can also mean long wait times, little exposure to equipment and a completely out of control environment.

E3 Agility is a training approach that is not only based upon leadership and confidence, but the three essential E’s as well. This combination has proven to strengthen your relationship with your best friend. By focussing on leadership, trust and confidence, your relationship with your dog will surpass your own expectations. E3 Agility goes beyond traditional agility classes. It is a part of lifestyle training. The information and techniques you learn in class can transfer over into your everyday life. Together with your best friend, you can build a stronger relationship and have a happier healthy dog.
The three E platform of E3 Agility are Entertain, Educate and Engage.
Entertain – We use friendly competitions, unique obstacles, and relay races to build your excitement while working and learning with your dog.
Educate – We provide information on not just agility, but dog behaviour, handling skills, obedience, leadership, patience and much more. You will receive a booklet to track your progress, handouts and homework which will enhance your relationship with your best friend.
Engage – This aspect is extremely unique to E3 Agility. You will not be standing around waiting in a line for your chance to run a course. You may be engaged in the course by holding a stay position with your dog and acting as distractions for other dogs running the course or you may be working on fundamental skills and equipment off the course. By constantly interacting throughout the class, your dog will learn to focus their attention more on you.
Come and join us “outside of the box”! Some of the equipment you will see here is not available anywhere else. E3 has been specifically designed to create a challenging and entertaining atmosphere where you and your pooch can learn to work together as a team. You will expose your dog to unique surfaces and situations that will provide them with physical and mental stimulation. Your dog’s trust and confidence in your leadership abilities will grow beyond levels you thought could ever be achieved.
E3 agility is designed as a progressive course where our dogs are able to build confidence and motivation with basic skills before they are exposed to more advanced skills and equipment. This method ensures the best possible outcome for both handler and dog. Nothing is more frustrating than a dog who "shuts down" because they were exposed to a stressful situation too soon.
E3 Agility offers 3 Levels plus drop-in classes. You can progress from one level to the next, or repeat the levels as many times as you'd like. (Level 2 will have different equipment and exercises all the time!)
Our classes are structured in stations to ensure dogs and their owners experience minimal down-time.
E3 Agility is open to dogs of all breeds and sizes. Classes will take place indoors or outdoors depending on the weather.

LEVEL 1
E3 Level 1 is where you and your dog will be introduced to agility equipment and the rules of the sport. In this class you will learn how to lead your dog through obstacles in a way that ensures they will be successful every time.

Prerequisite: Pup Start, Jump Start or The Core
Dogs are required to be at least 6 months of age prior to starting E3 Agility
Frequency: 8 weeks long, 1x week, 1.25hr per class
Classes that fall on a long weekend will be held on either Monday or Wednesday evening of the following week
Cost: $275 (includes GST); Clever Canines Club Members receive 10% off
Equipment: Martingale collar and six foot leash
LEVEL 2
E3 Level 2 will have you challenging your dog even further with new equipment and greater distractions! We will use unique equipment that no one else uses to build our dogs skill level and confidence beyond what could be accomplished in traditional agility classes.

LEVEL 3
E3 Level 3 is designed with an eye towards competing in agility trials. We will work on perfecting and improving your skills, course time, and handling ability. You will increase your distance and obstacles will become more challenging requiring a confident dog to use problem solving skills. E3 incorporates video review into Level 3 to take your learning to the next level. Whether you choose to compete against other E3 students in our own fun and unique competitions, attend larger agility trials, or simply to just further your relationship with your dog, E3 Level 3 is for you!

Drop-In Classes
Drop-in classes are for those students who wish to practice agility in a non class setting. Gaining more exposure to equipment can help you perfect your techniques, handling skills, and course time. An E3 Instructor will be available to demonstrate skills and techniques as well as answer your questions. If your dog has challenges with certain pieces of equipment, this is a great opportunity to take extra time to work on building confidence in that area.
Prerequisite: E3 Level 1
Frequency: At least twice a month we will open up a two hour window where you can drop in at any time.
Cost: $20 (includes GST)
Equipment: Martingale collar and six foot leash
