10-Week Class starting outGroup Class

Group classes are a great way to create a well-rounded dog and, best of all, they are FUN!

Many obedience classes take place inside a facility with four walls, use treats and rarely progress beyond leash training.

You don't walk your dog indoors, so why train there?

At Clever Canines, our canine etiquette, obedience and street safety classes take place in the great outdoors.  The use of treats is strictly prohibited and our goal is to have your dog walking off leash by the end of our ten week course!

Training your dog outdoors with real life scenarios and everyday distractions ensures optimum results. You and your best friend will learn etiquette, obedience and street safety all in one class! We use a balanced approach to praise and corrections, as well as provide an understanding of pack mentality, canine communication and body language. This type of training has been proven to save dogs’ lives.Stevie

This course has been designed to give you all the necessary tools, education and skill to create a fulfilled, well-balanced and happy dog for the rest of its life. Once you have completed the 10 weeks, you will have the knowledge on how to manage practically any situation you are in and keep your dog safe.

During each session you will be given very clear instructions and homework along with handouts to assist you between classes. Your trainer will be available for you throughout the week to help or assist you via telephone, e-mail or one-on-one classes.

Classes are 1.5 to 2 hours long and scheduled three times a week for ten weeks. This equals 30 available classes you can attend! Although it is not mandatory to attend all 30 classes, it is highly recommended and will help you achieve outstanding results. (Think of it this way: you have to walk your dog and practice what you are learning everyday, so why not do it in a fun learning environment?!)

Yes, this course is a big commitment, but having a dog is a big commitment. There is no magic wand in training. You have to put the time and energy into educating your dog in order to have a respectful companion you can trust in any situation.

We refer to this course as lifestyle training. We teach you how to educate your dog, creating a solid foundation and a life with your dog beyond what most people imagine. Our clients enjoy our group classes because they are scheduled, consistent, social, interactive and informative, and because you get to meet and work with other dogs and their owners.
