One-On-One Classes
One-on-one sessions are reserved for dogs who have severe behaviour problems, challenges, temperament issues, trauma, phobias, aggression or other sensitivities where group class is not a good fit. The majority of these dogs end up doing well in a group class setting once we have dealt with the issues on an individual basis first. Your dog will be assessed and set up on a specific program unique to each individual animal.
The price is $250 for the first visit and $150 for any additional visits. The initial visit can be up to 2 hours in length, and each additional visit is about 1.5 hours long. (Prices include GST)

Are you a past Graduate?
If you have completed either the Jump Start program or The Core 10-Week group class, you receive priority bookings for all private sessions. Private sessions can take place within your home, your neighbourhood, at your favourite location, or we can combine environments. Clever Canines can help you through any challenge you are having; there is no limitation to what we can provide.
Here are some of the most common reasons for past graduates to have a private session:
- Improve your dogs reaction to the door bell
- Create calmness and politeness when guests come over
- Create boundaries (remove baby gates!)
- Learn to control excessive barking as people pass by your windows
- Perfect and enjoy the walk
- Correct jumping up on you and/or guests
- Working at off-leash parks for practice with greetings, or play sessions
- Perfect all commands (recall, stay, stop, etc.)
- Working with reactions, aggressions, fears, or confidence building due to other dogs and/or the environment
- Eliminate excessive and destructive behaviour
- So much more...
If you are a past graduate, the cost for a private session is $150. Clever Canines Club Members receive an additional 10% discount!
